Here is this week's roundup of articles and resources to help you on your journey.

There are good ones like Lily Ray's E-A-T tactics, a list of 79 great SEO Chrome extensions, and tips for handling the FAQ schema changes.

E-A-T and FAQs are two things I do spend time with. They both help with SEO and site authority.

Many people don't spend any time on them because they feel like E-A-T and FAQs are extraneous and a waste of time. Couldn't be farther from the truth.

Spend that extra time to make your content and site better in the eyes of Google and visitors.

Try to look at your site from the eyes of a first-time visitor. Start with assessing your inner pages and navigate from there.

If you landed on an inner page from Google, would you trust the site? Would you want to continue navigating to other pages? Do the internal links to other pages make you want to click to other pages?

Take a few minutes to try to look at your site objectively. Being objective won't be easy because you made the site after all. It does take practice.

Maybe on the 1st attempt, you find one thing that could make the user experience better. On the 2nd attempt, you find another thing to enhance. Keep going and you'll find more.

Be sure to revisit the pages every once in a while.

Demonstrating E-A-T: Tactics to implement, and avoid, for greater search visibility

Lily Ray of Amsive Digital shares trends that are common among core update losers and the techniques she uses to help her clients bolster their E-A-T.

FAQ Rich Results Limted to 2 in SERPs

Google's Danny Sullivan confirmed that FAQ rich results are limited to two per snippet now. People were thinking it was a test, but it's now a confirmed change.

FAQs are one of my best SEO tips to get more clicks from the SERPs. It's really easy to implement too using Rank Math or another SEO Plugin with the FAQ Schema feature.

Learn how to improve your content with Search Console Insights

Goole came out with a new feature - Search Console Insights. It uses data from both Search Console and Google Analytics to show statistics from top and trending pages and keyword searches.

Here are some sample questions that this experience will help you answer:

What are your best performing pieces of content, and which ones are trending?
How do people discover your content across the web?
What do people search for on Google before they visit your content?
Which article refers users to your website and content?

Google Spam Update

Google released a spam update on June 23rd and it completed the same day. There's going to be a 2nd update the next week.

If you saw some position ranking changes, check to see if it might be spam-related.

Dmitry Gerasimenko, the Founder and CEO of Ahrefs tweets that they're getting closer to their own search engine with a 90/10 profit sharing model.

Ahrefs is getting closer to publicly promoting the Web Search Engine we are working on. In case you missed the previous announcement – the point of our search engine is to share ad revenue with content creators 90/10. With 90% going to creators.

Google Search notice warns searchers when results are new and possibly unreliable

Google is testing a new search feature that tells the searchers when the results for their query are new and thus possibly unreliable. The notice reads :

It looks like these results are changing quickly. If this topic is new, it can sometimes take time for results to be added by reliable sources.
